Amazon Data Privacy Policy

mywellness horizon is an authorized seller on Amazon. We are required to collect certain personally identifiable information (PII) from our customers to deliver products and provide services/customer support after delivery.

How We Retrieve Data from Amazon

During programmatic communication with Amazon, we use the official Amazon API. Our connector was developed in compliance with the following official policies:

Information We Collect

We retrieve customer address information from the Amazon account via the API, including:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Billing & Shipping Address

We store logs of all requests to the Amazon API for 90 days for troubleshooting and to comply with Amazon's Data Protection Policy. However, we do not store the content of responses that contain PII.

How We Store and Backup Data

PII is temporarily stored on a secure server in an encrypted format. Data is stored in a single database and is never copied or transferred to any other devices belonging to our employees or third parties. Database backups are stored on Amazon S3 encrypted storage. The data protection policies for Amazon S3 are available on their website. Backups are retained for the last 7 days and then deleted.

Who Has Access to PII

Our Customer Service Agents have access to this data to assist customers with their inquiries before shipping or for 30 days after shipping.

How We Use PII

We use PII for:

  • Determining the nearest warehouse for order fulfillment
  • Automatically generating shipping labels for FedEx, USPS, UPS for delivery to the customer's location

How We Clean Up PII Data

Thirty days after the delivery of products, we completely remove PII customer data from our database. Data is stored for 30 days to facilitate customer support or returns if required.
